Elk River Action works to strengthen our community by supporting local businesses, bringing people together, and building partnerships. We aim to create a brighter future for Braxton County through teamwork and shared efforts.

Elk River Action was established in 2023 by a dedicated group of local leaders and community members with a shared passion for Sutton and Braxton County. Their goal is to unlock the area’s full potential and create lasting value for the people who call it home, through meaningful projects and community-driven initiatives.
